Our journey began when our founder left school at the age of 15 to begin a career within the construction industry. Through working alongside highly skilled tradesmen and completing college and apprenticeship training, he developed the skills, knowledge, and passion that would later become the foundation of the business - Sean Fraser.

Not long after completing his apprenticeship, Merit Property Solutions Ltd was established — a proud family-run company that has now been operating for over 14 years. Originally starting within the joinery and carpentry sector in Edinburgh, the business has grown into a trusted all-trades property solutions company working across Edinburgh and throughout Scotland.

Joinery remains our main trade and the core of what we do, with craftsmanship, attention to detail, and quality workmanship at the heart of every project. Alongside this, we also offer a complete all-trades service, allowing us to manage projects from start to finish under one trusted company.

Over the years, we have taken on a wide range of fantastic projects, from first-time buyer flats and family homes to historical buildings, churches, hotels, commercial properties, and full domestic renovations. No matter the size of the project, we approach every job with the same level of care, professionalism, and pride.
